„Stokrotka” – cheap in center of Zakopane!
Guesthouse „Stokrotka” is situated in a very center of Zakopane just 250m from the center point of the city: „pond” on Krupowki street. Location in quiet residential area net to city park and marvelous view of the mountains are our advantages. From this place everything is near. You can hike in the mountains, ski on the slopes, walk through charming streets.
In a near neighbourhood are situated indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and ice rink. Nearness of numerous inns, restaurants, museums, galleries and other showplaces located in the middle of Zakopane makes Your stay in Stokrotka even more interesting. The guesthouse is located in a small side street, what also makes Your stay quiet and comfortable.
The guesthouse has an impressive history. It was built in 1936 under name of Farys, later the name was changed to Patria. During the Second World War it was used as holiday resort for officers of German army. After the war the guesthouse was a seat of Office of Security (U.B.). Afterwards it was for many years a representative holiday resort of the Ministry. High officials of communist government were resting here. In 70’s it became a holiday resort of the Police. In 1981 under the influence of Solidarity the Police passed it to orphanage. A few years ago the guesthouse was returned to its legal owner.
For individual guests we recommend a stay in a part of our resort which is actually guesthouse. It consists of rooms for 2-3 people and studios. All our rooms have bathrooms and TV sets. Most of the rooms have balconies on southern side of the building, what provides unforgettable view of the Tatra mountains. The rooms are modernised systematically.
In a tourist part of the building we offer a cheap accomodation in rooms for 4-6 people with shared bathroom.
We provide free of charge fenced parking space. In dining room we serve hearty breakfasts. In garden we have grill. Bedding and towels are included in the price.
